A 40yo male contacted me regarding low back pain of sudden onset after moving a heavy water heater. He denied any radiation of the pain into either leg. Strength, sensation and reflexes were intact and symmetrical in his lower extremities. Physical exam also revealed a hypertonic right psoas muscle and reduced sacral mobility.
